Pastor / Leadership
Rev. Tony Ford
8th Pastor of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church
A faithful servant called to preach, lead, and serve.
Rev. Tony Ford was born on July 29, 1972, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Rita Ford and Leroy Hopson. He is the second youngest of five children. Although he frequently attended church as a child, it wasn’t until 2001 that he truly recognized God’s purpose for his life.
That same year, Rev. Ford joined Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church through water baptism and was baptized on November 11, 2001, under the leadership of Rev. Larry J. Houston. Over time, he became more involved in the church, first serving on the usher board for several years before later joining the deacon board.
After years of wrestling with his calling, countless sleepless nights, and months of prayer, Rev. Ford surrendered to God’s will. On November 25, 2012, he preached his initial sermon and received his ministerial license. On June 26, 2022, he was ordained as a gospel minister, once again under the leadership of Pastor Larry J. Houston.
